Room to Grow

Extraordinarily disadvantaged? Look again. What is it you are failing to see? The die is already cast, the molding set? Are you sure about that?

Keep looking down at your shoes if you wish…

Or. Spell it out. Assess your situation. Perhaps you were given this lot for a reason, a purpose. Hard to fathom, I know. I know.

Give yourself room to grow. Yes, I made a funny idiom. Ease up, release this built up pressure of comparing your life to another’s.

This is you we’re talking about here.

You choose the paths you take. You choose the mindset you carry with you. Is that bag loaded with heavy rocks or an easy toss over your shoulder?

Life is what you make it, that is true. Wallow is self pity if you want to, just know that it will not get you too far.

Or. Climb that ladder, rung by rung…

Channeled message from Cynthia Thompson Stratton (1810-1884). Cynthia was the mother of Charles Sherwood Stratton who was also known as General Tom Thumb. Did you see the movie The Greatest Showman with Hugh Jackman? This movie is based on P.T. Barnum, the circus and General Tom Thumb. Cynthia said this about her son Charles, ‘I never met another with such a high stature.’ Charles was 3 feet 4 inches tall.
