Moorings and Anchors with enough line to Grow

Two modalities that serve the same purpose, they are in the same suit but distinctly different. One is foundational, this is important. It is the solid base that while allowing some movement, it still remains firmly planted, grounded in. The mooring could act as an anchor but the anchor will never serve as a mooring.

To anchor is to temporarily stay in place. Calm water and clear skies, that anchor will hold. But, there will always be rough water, the storms will roll in from time to time. Do you trust this anchor to hold? I wouldn’t.

There is one more element to this equation, your line. Sturdy chain, ropes of all kinds, none are infallible. Ropes fray, chains break.

How do you prevent this to the best of your ability? Maintenance. That’s right, inspect the line, the anchor, the mooring. These pre-checks bring peace of mind, faith that all is well.

I know you see through this analogy, you’re smart, you understand. You must have a spiritual ground to remain rooted when those storms arise because they will. Set your foundation firmly tethered to your heart. Give yourself enough line to grow, to explore, to roam.

Preparation is freedom, is ease and flow. Man your vessel, take ownership of what is rightly yours.

Don’t be afraid to venture out of your comfort zone. Do the necessary foundational work and you will be amazed at what will unfold.

Channeled message from Tyler Winchfield, a dock worker who said, “Oh, I loved the water. It was my life!”. Tyler is in good company with Albert (Einstein) and Ernest (Hemingway), he said, “I can never get a word in edgewise!” as he laughed. Thank you ever so much Tyler!
