I gave up my life for a battle that still rages. Sure, the landscapes have changed but the divide still rages. It is not about color. It is about division. Ain’t ya’ll tired, I mean, come on! Enough is enough. Love your neighbor whoever they are. Lift each other up. Look upon our children, all children as a welcomed blessing. Stop with the “I’ll do it when they do it” bullshit.

Channeled message from Civil Rights Leader Medgar Evers (1925-1963). Evers enlisted in the Army at 17 years old with his older brother Charles during World War ll. The brothers served with the segregated 325th Port Company. Their role was invaluable in the liberation of Normandy, France and Europe. Fighting for his country and still being discriminated against, he told his brother, “When we get out of the Army, we’re going to straighten this thing out!”. Standing in the face of hatred, Evers said, “If I die, it will be for a good cause.”. On June 12th, 1963 Medgar Evers was murdered in Jackson, MS in his own driveway. He is interred at Arlington National Cemetery.
