Hello. I’ve been angry and frustrated with my child. I do not like this feeling, it is not in alignment. ‘Well now, that all depends on what alignment you are talking about doesn’t it.’
Please show me what you need me to see. (I was listening to piano and violin music.) ‘Do you hear the voice in the strings?’
I do. ‘Is that voice one or is it the choir?’
The symphony and the choir. ‘The symphony, the choir, the stars, the moon…’
It is beautiful. ‘Is it beautiful when it is off key or out of tune?’
No. ‘It comes from the same source, how can it not be beautiful?’
It sounds and feels better when the music is in tune. It’s easier on the ears and head. ‘This is true. An instrument played or not will always need adjusted and recalibrated.’
Why? ‘The sweet, the sour. The ebb and flow. The ying, the yang. Does this duality not serve a purpose?’
Yes, it does. The hard times give us a deeper appreciation for the easier times. ‘Yes. Would you say this builds character?’
I would. ‘Little snippets all along the way that create the big picture.’
Yes. I see that but where does this “righteous” anger fit in? ‘There are times when the levy must break for there to be growth. Perhaps this is an opportunity to redirect or realign what is meant to be rectified. My dear, sometimes the instrument out of tune is not out of alignment at all. Maybe it is only the tone itself that needs adjusting.’
I see. How am I to unclench my teeth in this time of adjustment? ‘You are simply holding your space for the energetics you are acclimating to, this tension is you grounding in your own energy. However, how do you transmute this onslaught?’
Go outside. Call on my angels, guides or ancestors for help. ‘Yes dear. You are not a body of one are you?’
