Limitations, boundaries. Not enough time in the day. Whew! If only I had another me! Wouldn’t that be fabulous. Someone you could understand and trust inheritantly! What value and harmony this would bring!
What? This isn’t feasible, it doesn’t work that way? No! Say it isn’t so. Maybe you are right and a little wrong. Let’s say you have ten to fifty steps in your busy day. Let’s look at this, delve in. What is the “busy” work that can be streamlined? What is so time consuming, physically and mentally draining that needs a regroup?
Take a step back for a second. Do a quick scan of your day in your head. Ask yourself; How can I best use my time to have more ease and flow? Write down what comes to mind. Keep it handy for those ideas will keep popping in over the next few days.
Remember this; Just because you’ve always done something a certain way does not mean that you cannot change it up, make it more streamlined. Taking a different approach might just give you a new sense of revitalization and a break from the boring monotony. I’ve no doubt that you would welcome that!
Spruce up your work space while you’re at it. Get a new plant, hang up some funny, lighthearted things. Recenter, reengage, rebalance.
Life is to be lived! Don’t get so bogged down that you get stuck in the motions. Make yourself a priority on that to do list. Take a walk, a bath. Get a massage. Take a long lunch with a new friend, an old friend. Read a funny, lighthearted book. Go inside the coffee shop, get the pastry, sit and be in the experience. Find your gratitude and let your blessings flow, there will always be time for that!
