Shamanic Journey

My name is Wind On Face, I am a young Indian warrior. Next to the council fire I sit, covered by the hive shield. The drums beat, I rise and dance The Bumble Bee Dance around the fire.

Once again, I sit next to the council fire under the protection of the hive shield. A pillar of honey swirls as it rises from me and lingers above me.

The message given; ‘We are all the hive, all one, all connected. What we do affects the colony. Your actions matter.’

I rise, put the shield down and turn to walk away from the tribal fire. As I walk I sashay my feet to the beat of the drums. My heartbeat begins to beat to the same cadence as the drums.

I am now walking in a field of tall grasses and wildflowers. There are many foraging bees. This is the second time I’ve seen this. Another time, another life. I run my hands over the grasses and flowers as I walk. ‘We are one. Connected. My heart pounds, your heart pounds. One in the same. United in colony.’

I see my horse, One Who Soars! I have missed him. I hug his body. My hand is on his heart, my chest to his body. We are one. One love unites our souls. My heart pounds to the beat of the drums. His heart pounds to the beat of the drums.

I ride. We ride. Ride the wind. Ride the vibration that is joy in connection and sweet union. We ride. It is now time for me to leave. Goodbye just for now my friend.
