Washed in the blood. Washed in the water. What does this mean?
You are born from the water. You are created in the blood. You are anointed even before your very first breath on this earth. You remember this on a cellular level. This, at the base is the yearning of the heart. The desire to be loved, accepted and embraced is present at birth.
The chosen path of course is to give what you would want to receive. Sometimes though, when one is denied love they choose to weaponize affection and over and over again “prove” that they are not worthy of love. Resentment becomes their armor and their heart their shield of defense.
This soul journey is one of the most difficult of earthly challenges. To love your broken heart into remission takes extraordinary courage.
Pray. Talk to God. Lay your cards upon the table. Unburden your heavy heart. He will listen. He will hear. Ask for peace and it shall be given. Upon your knees you fall, I surrender all. Blood of my blood. Bone of my bone, I surrender all.
