It takes time and patience to grow the perfect coffee beans. If your land is stripped of it’s vital nutrients your crop will not thrive, will not come into fruition.
You must focus on the ground. The rich spoils of the earth will only come to those that invest of themselves into this cultivation of duplicity. A dualistic relationship that requires time, attention and patience.
Oh, but the rewards. The dirty hands and feet. The simpleness of all is well where I have been planted, there is no duality here. It is the I am that I am, a oneness. Wholeness. This is not meant to be analyzed, dissected. No, just let it be. Lean into it and bask in the glow of this moment.
This is the intention, the harvest. This is allowing yourself to see just how far you have come.
It takes time to roast the beans to caramelized perfection. Slow down, there is magic in each and every day. Look for it, acknowledge it, embrace it. Set your brew strength to your liking and give yourself a moment of calm, a moment of peace and reflection. Stir in a little gratitude and watch your cup runneth over.
Channeled message from Pablo Sanchez, a Columbian coffee grower. He referred to himself as a grower, a cultivator and a creator. Pablo opened his message to me with a question, ‘Hot cup of coffee? Ah, but it’s not, you have allowed it to cool down.’ I said, “That’s OK. I am still enjoying my coffee.” Pablo responded with, ‘Like life sometimes isn’t it, hot, cold and everything in between.’ and then he answered my next thought as he smiled…’Yes, yes. Ernest sends his love.’ (Ernest Hemingway.)
