Life is what you make It

‘Play it small or play it big. Straddle the midline if it suits you.’

Good morning. Who is speaking please? ‘Joe DiMaggio.’

Welcome Joe, please carryon.

‘Why not go for it? Why settle for a slice when you can have the whole cake? Full on kit and caboodle. See here, too many of us sell ourselves short and never get out in the field to play ball. There are too many bench warmers, the dugout is filled to capacity. Get up, get out, stretch. Who cares if they baulk at you, let them. Their opinion of you is not your business. Take those little baby steps out of your comfort zone, it won’t take you long to find your stride. You might surprise yourself with just how agile you can be.’

What was your greatest achievement Joe? ‘Outside of marrying Marilyn? (He laughs.) Well, my baseball career of course, that’s the obvious answer. No, what I am most proud of is my integrity and my influence on young kids. To see a child’s eyes light up with joy and excitement is such a gift. I lived for those moments.’

That’s beautiful. How did you know to connect with me Joe? ‘Rose of Sharon.’

What is that? ‘Marilyn Monroe.’

I’ve not spoken with Marilyn yet. I wonder how she knows of me. ‘John F. Kennedy.’

Oh, I see. Are you with them? ‘We travel the same circles.’

Does everyone get along? ‘Yes. We all have our common goal; raise up humanity. Empower the living into believing in themselves and learning to love themselves into the life they were meant to live.’

How are we doing? ‘We’re getting there. The division is still so prominent. So much delusion and manipulation is at play. People freely give their minds over to the media, the screens cast their hypnotic spells.’

How are they to break free from this? ‘Turn it off. Tune out to tune in. Find your silence, find your solitude. Go outside. Walk the trails. Go to the river, the lake, the ocean. Reconnect on a soul level, giving yourself the opportunity to actually hear those Divine messages that the noise has drowned out.’

Beautiful. Is there anything else you wish to share before I go? ‘It’s coming. For you I mean. It’s just over the horizon. People need your light that your messages will give. So many are emotionally disconnected and bankrupt. So many do not even make eye contact. They are so disillusioned and cut off from their Divinity. Well, fear not for the times, they’ll be a changin’. Yes, they will. There is love, there is hope. There is the spark of the Divine in everyone of us that longs to burn bright.’

I appreciate your message Joe. I will be happy to share it. In love, gratitude and peace, I thank you. ‘We are all of those things. We are love. We are joy. We are abundance. We are peace. We are powerful people when we find our courage to be who we were always meant to be. Much love to you Christine, much love.’

“Joltin’ Joe”, “the Yankee Clipper”, Joseph Paul DiMaggio 1914-1999 was an American baseball center fielder for the New York Yankees. Joe is considered to be one of the greatest baseball players of all time. DiMaggio was also a Sergeant in the United States Army Air forces 1943-1945. His second marriage was to actress Marilyn Monroe. The union was volatile at times and ended in divorce. Joe sought therapy and cleaned up his act. He decided he was going to ask Marilyn to remarry him five days before her death, he never married again and had a half-dozen red roses delivered to her crypt three times a week for twenty years.
