Beauty in the Pain

There is beauty in the pain. Tragedy in itself is jarring. It breaks us open and cuts us to our very soul. Sit in it. Let the dust settle. Let it be.

Let it be until the sun breaks free and you see the first rays breaking through for you. Then, get to work. Let the clean up begin. Take inventory. Are all accounted for? Check on your neighbors. Put your gloves on, your mask.

This is the new dawn. The new beginning. A reset. A fresh slab of marble to be carved, shaped and brought to life. Renewal, regeneration.

No, not without pain. There will be pain, loss, suffering but what this leads to is a masterpiece of all masterpieces.

The scales will tip heavy at first but each new day will bring a new dawn and grain by grain this scale will begin to lighten. The pain will abet healing, communion and resolve. We will heal and unite as never before. We will prevail, bring love, harmony and community.

Channeled message from Michelangelo. He said, “This is an exciting time for sure, almost as exciting as the Sistine Chapel Fresco…Pure poetry.
