Dust in the Wind

Hi Edgar, I enjoyed your message this morning. You haven’t left me yet, so I know you have more to share, I welcome your insight. ‘Well, I see you have figured out my connection to The Phantom of the Opera. Yes and yes. I am also Gaston Leroux and by that, I am the author of The Phantom of the Opera.’

Fascinating. You died at 40, Gaston died at age 58. Why so young? ‘There was much to do. To accelerate my craft, my genre. To open people’s minds to the more than meets the eye. The path leading to where you are now. The revelations are coming into fruition. Could a purist society be expected to accept and understand anything outside of the “Good Book”, I think not.’

(I hear the song Dust in the Wind and see Edgar walking on the dust as it settles.) ‘Yes, we are all dust in the wind.’

That’s pretty deep. ‘Where do you think they got their inspiration?’ (Edgar looks at me holding onto his jacket lapels.)

I’m getting a clearer understanding of your snarky attitude the more time we spend together. ‘I’m not sure that snarky is the right word… Give me a second. Perturbed Pretentiousness is better suiting.’

Funny, I like it. You are right of course! ‘Of that, I am sure!’ (He then laughs and raises a glass in a toast.)

Cheers! You just broke character, your energy changed. It feels lighter, so interesting. ‘Sometimes we give people what they expect, don’t we.’

Yes, we do. Are you happy where you are? ‘Extraordinarily happy. To assist mankind, to help evolution is beyond pleasurable.’

Who are you working with? ‘It’s not who. I work within certain energies. Think of it as a melody, musical notes.’

Is this energy high or low? ‘Both. Both are necessary.’

May I ask about your wife? You were 27, Virginia was 13. Forgive the intrusion but were you sexually drawn to young girls, children? ‘Both a curse and a blessing. I loved her. No, there were no others.’

Do you have anything to add about child trafficking? ‘It is very real. Very dark, very sinister. The exposures that are coming will bring chaos as to distract and add a smoke screen to divert attention.’

Your death is shrouded in mystery. Have you anything you wish to share about that? (I see gas, a Hitler mustache.) Are you saying someone who is German had a hand in your death or that you took some sort of gas? ‘I got drunk, passed out. I don’t know where or with who. I was molested, not sexually and robbed. Two German men. They shot something up my nose. I don’t think it was random. I had enemies, I could be quite the ass.’

Thank you Edgar. Is there anything else you wish to share before I go? ‘You are inspiring, a cosmic breath of fresh air. Thank you for allowing our connection on this full moon.’

I bid you peace and love Edgar. Light and love. ‘And I will take it.’ (He bows.)

Channeled message from Edgar Allen Poe. His mysterious death has led to much speculation and many false claims. I have my own theory. Edgar had many enemies and voting day was a perfect opportunity to dispose of Poe. The voting system was corrupt. Many of the polling places were in taverns and voters would get free drinks after casting their ballots. Some voters were forced to vote, change clothes and go back to vote again. This is a clever coverup in my opinion as to why Poe was found in someone else’s worn out, dirty, ill-fitting clothing. Picture Edgar having just cast his ballet, he is enjoying his free drink, talking politics with two men at the bar. Perhaps someone puts something in his drink, arsenic maybe, Edgar then leaves. Captain George W. Rollins, the train conductor reported that two men appeared to be following Poe when he saw him. Could these two men have been paid to dispose of Poe, get rid of an enemy, sure. I believe these men used Chloroform or Ether on a rag over his nose and mouth to subdue him. They beat him, stripped him of his money and clothing and put the other clothes on him. Four days later Edgar Allen Poe was dead at the ripe old age of 40. Cause of death; a poisonous concoction of Arsenic and Chloroform thrown in with a good beating. There are a few leads to investigate further, which of his enemies had ties to Germany? Are there connections to a dentist, a doctor, a soldier, that had access to Chloroform, Ether, Arsenic? Edgar’s murder was clearly a premeditated, well thought out plan to rid someone of a thorn in their side.
