Hog-Tied

Shackled, Hog-tied. Self-imposed or realized? Now isn’t that debatable. Perhaps it’s just a point of view, a reference point. Maybe, maybe not. Who’s to say? Well, it is you who has the say. You are the one to garner this perspective are you not.

It really isn’t about the what is happening to you. It is the how. How are you through this experience. What is your mindset? Sure. Go through the emotions. Shock, disbelief, sadness, anger, frustration. Feel it all. Go to the gambit with it.

When it is time, find your footing. Find your resolve. Give yourself the compassionate one, two, heave ho, there you go. Pull up those boot straps and get to gettin’. If that means pushing yourself to recover then push yourself.

If where you are has a different landscape, a path leading to deaths door, then there is still work to be done isn’t there. Speak what must be spoken. Find your peace, find your surrender.

A death of the body is just that, the death of the flesh suit you have adorned for your time around the sun. This is not you. This is not the death of your spirit. This is your spirits time to reconnect to your soul.

This is a celebration, a welcomed homecoming. Your soul family eagerly awaits your return. So, now decide. What comes next? Untie those bonds. Lose the restraining viewpoint that you are without choice.

Give yourself some grace, find your peace. Focus on the how not the why and you will find your footing.

Channeled message from Abigail Johnson who lived in the Montana backwoods. I asked her to tell me about herself… “I was wounded, severly. Excruciating pain, limited mobility. It took years of determination for me to recover.” I asked what helped her recover. “Faith, determination, love. Love for my family, my girls. I could not orphan them at such a young age.”
