Corrupted Contemplation

To contemplate, to think, to plan. For some this is an easy, straight forward action. Still, for others, they get bogged down in the details and get stuck in indecision.

More often than not, this is where the gathering of information comes into play. You know the term, educated decision. What will sometimes happen is more of an overload, too many choices, so much to choose from. We get stumped fearing the making of the wrong choice.

How about if you decide on three options then sit with it for a day or two. Play it out in your head. Choice one, what happens when you follow through with that? See it in your mind, feel it in your heart. Move on to two and three. This will allow you the opportunity to tap into your discernment. Trust what comes to you and make your decision in good faith.

This does not alter your ability to change your mind. Most decisions are not set in stone. So, what if you make a “mistake”? You chose with integrity. You made the best choice you could have made with the information you had. Do not waste your energy on should haves, move on to the nexts.

Our lives are all about choices. Many choices are easy, some are hard and that’s alright. We take the wins, we take the losses. We carry on. We decide. We move on one decision at a time.
