Butter is Heaven

Good Morning. George Washington, could I please speak with you? Hi Martha. (His wife comes in.) ‘Child.’ (Martha nods and smiles, we’re friends.) George arrives, ‘Good Morning, what is on your docket today?’

I’m going to pack and take care of some loose ends before we drive to Maine for Thanksgiving. ‘Thanksgiving. I enjoyed Thanksgiving immensely. The feasting with friends and family alike. The time to recognize what really matters. A juicy, fat, succulent bird, dripping in caramelized butter is heaven.’

Yes it is! ‘Why have you called to me child?’

Thomas Jefferson mentioned that you are not in the same playground with him and many of the other founding fathers. What does that mean? ‘I am in a higher dimension.’

Your mother Mary and wife Martha are not in this dimension? ‘No.’

How do you see them? ‘I am free to go anywhere at will.’

Do you have a job in your dimension? ‘Consider me a conductor, if you will. I set many moving parts into motion to create orchestras of sound and vibration, energetic creations.’

Did you enjoy fellowship with many of the Founding Fathers? ‘Ah, the children. Most assuredly. They, the elite rough-and-tumble of America. Not an aristocrat in the bunch.’

Would you have enjoyed late evenings with drink and conversation with them? ‘I myself enjoyed the more pragmatic approaches. Take care of business first. The reward is a meal and a drink worthy of the crown. A nice claret to conclusion is perfection. This is where I take my leave. The days were long and I was in want of conference with my dear Martha.’

Such a sweet sentiment George. ‘Duty, honor and love.’

What is the best lesson you learned in this lifetime? ‘Look for greatness in others and afford them the opportunity to rise on their own merits. Remember it is you who sets the tone in every situation.’

What is your greatest accomplishment? ‘The architecture of a successful American government annexed from the crown.’

What do you think of our government today? ‘Washington has become laden with hodgey cesspools of corruption in every branch. Call the maid, call the gardener, let the cleanup begin.’

Were you friends with Thomas and Benjamin? ‘Of course. None so close as my dear Alexander. Should I have had a son, it is he I would have chosen.’

Did others chide him for this? ‘Oh, sure. The boy reveled in it. Such a pure, joyous spirit in Alexander.’

Is there anything else you wish to share Mr. President? ‘Do your work. Surround yourself with like-minded people. Create an environment of trust that allows others to come to you when in need of council.’

What dimension are you in please? ‘The seventh. Seventh Heaven.’

Who might be with you? ‘Mother Theresa, Gandhi, Buddha, Yoda.’

Wow, thank you Mr. President. (George Washington’s energy is gone after the word Yoda. He must be pretty busy up there!)

Channeled message from George Washington. George was a Founding Father of the United States, a military officer and farmer who served as the first President of the United States from 1789 to 1797. On October 3, 1789 Washington issued his Thanksgiving Proclamation, designating for “the people of the United States a day of public Thanksgiving” to be held on “Thursday the 26th day of November” marking the first national celebration that we still celebrate today. He is also known as the “Father of his Country”. Near death he told his doctor, “Doctor, I die hard, but I am not afraid to go.” George Washington died at age 67 on December 14th, 1799 with his sweet Martha at the foot of his bed, his last words were “Tis well”.
