Lewis and Clark, question and Answer.

While exploring the American wilderness did you feel as though you were the first to do so or did you have the notion that you were following in other peoples footsteps? We were the first formal expedition. Many others came before. Many guides aided us on our path.

Who were some of your guides? The natives. The mountain people. The animals also had stories to tell.

What were your thoughts while on your journey? You were alone with limited resources with nobody to help if something went wrong. A day spent in adventure, exploration is worth more than 1,000 nights indoors, tending to the fire. We would have been honored to die in pursuit of our dreams and ambitions, a truly just and worthy cause.

What is a special memory you wish to share? A night in a wigwam is a better nights sleep I never had.

Where was this? Montana. (The Nez Perce, he was rumored to have fathered a child.)

About your death? An unfortunate murderous accident it was.

Why would they think you committed suicide? To tarnish my good name. A strong character has enemies in disguise.

Who was with you for this murderous accident? A Longfellow. (Tall one.)

A channeled message from Meriwether Lewis. He was suffering from a years long battle with malaria that could be debilitating. He died from two gunshot wounds. The story changed over the years. He was an excellent marksman but had a bullet graze his head and another under his breast causing a slow death at just 35 years old.
