The human experience is it not? The breaking down, the building up, the breaking down. Are mistakes really ever mistakes? You did something you shouldn’t have. I know you felt it, that little nudging feeling, the one that tried to make you change course. You chose to ignore this gift of intuition. That is your right, you have been given free will to do as you choose. With that will always come natural consequences, both good and bad.
Today is a new day, a gift. What you do with this gift is up to you. Do you take this opportunity to recognize the contrast you have been given? Do you take this opportunity to recognize that you are perfect just the way you are? Do you take this opportunity to recognize the path before you?
Stop looking outside of yourself for validation. You are created to shine your own light, do not allow others to dim this glow. Stand in your power, the power of knowing that you are enough.
Own up to your mistakes, give apologies where needed and be grateful for those that love you. Forgive yourself, take ownership of this lesson learned. Stand tall in your personal growth and use this experience as a stepping-stone from which you move on from.
There are none amongst you who are perfect, therein lies the perfection.
